The Craig Jones Invitational is excited to announce a previously signed deal with Karate Combat, the world's premier full-contact striking league, to strategically co-license the Pit for grappling sports. The Craig Jones Invitational, renowned for its innovative approach to martial arts competitions, demonstrated the use of the fighting apparatus patented by Karate Combat.

The Karate Combat Pit is designed to facilitate full-contact action while providing a safe and controlled environment for fighters. The collaboration with the Craig Jones Invitational will enable the exploration of innovative formats and styles, allowing both organizations to push the boundaries of traditional martial arts competition.

"We believe the Pit is the best competition area for grappling as it eliminates out-of-bounds stoppages, leading to nonstop action and a more exciting showcase of the sport,” said Craig Jones, Founder of CJI. “If it ain’t in the Pit, it ain’t shit.”

"What Craig Jones has done to elevate the sport of Jiu-Jitsu is inspiring, and his promotion of The Pit has been unprecedented. We look forward to seeing them push the sport even further." said Robert Bryan, Co-Founder of Karate Combat.

CJI encourages anyone interested in licensing the Pit for grappling to reach out to: Seth Belisle, President, Fair Fight Foundation [email protected]
