Weber Almeida started was inspired to start training Karate by his father who was Black Belt in the art. He would go on to become a 6 time national champion in the art, before transitioning to Kickboxing and becoming a Pan-American Champion in that sport. From there he would transition to MMA with the help of Chinzo Machida. Joining the prestigious lineage of Machida Karate.
