Karate Combat Debuts in Thailand

with a Card Full of Muay Thai Stars
by Karate Combat • 2024. Nov 11

Expanding horizons has been the order of the day for Karate Combat in 2024. After holding events in places like Mexico, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore; Thailand will be the organization's new stop, where the third edition of Kickback (parallel events to the official ones, more focused on local talents) will take place on November 14, in Bangkok.

And to treat fans of the famous Southeast Asian country, the card will be 'invaded' by Muay Thai stars, all of whom have won several titles in the main Thai stadiums and world circuits of the sport.

In the main event, Komsan 'Yodwicha', who has a resounding record of 201 wins, 58 losses and five defeats, will face the Iranian Vahid NIkkah.

In the co-main event, the experienced Manop 'Lerdsila' will face the Russian Turach Novruzov. Famous for his Matrix-style dodging, 'Lerdsila' is one of the most active and well-known names in the sport in recent decades. With 191 victories in his professional record (100 of them won consecutively), he has had training partners such as Saenchai, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky and Georges St.Pierre.

Still in the 'legends' sector, Chaeamlap 'Pinpetch' will also be in action, against Reza Razavi (Iran).

Another highlight will be the French fighter, Adam Noi, a Two-time world champion in Muay Thai, the bantamweight is looking for his third consecutive victory for the organization, which will possibly lead him to the Title fight next.

Among the Brazilians, there is only one representative. The São Paulo-born, Thailand-based Milena Calazans will debut at the event to face the Indian Asha Roka, who has extensive experience in MMA and boxing events on her resume.

"Our rules have undergone significant changes this year. Karate Combat is now much more open-minded and adapts perfectly to Muay Thai and other styles. This way, we will arrive in another country valuing local idols and also giving worthy opportunities for the best fighters to showcase their work," said Karate Combat president Asim Zaidi.

"We will remain steadfast in our mission to make our brand the biggest stand-up fighting league in the world," he added.
