Jose Alberto Quiñonez

Teco was born in a town in between the Zacatecan Sierra. He was forced to move to the capital to be able to train and work to live. That his how he began to be involved in martial arts. Quiñónez grew up in a “tough” neighborhood, as he has declared. Although, he never liked violence, and he always stayed out of trouble. He practiced football and soccer during all his childhood, until he was a teenager, where he started training Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, and the Polynesian Martial Art of Limalama. He would then later fully transition to Mixed Martial Arts. He would have a successful MMA career on the regional level in Mexico before being selected for The Ultimate Fighter. He would become a finalist on the show and later make his debut in the UFC. But now he seeks a new challenge in the Premier Striking Organization in the world Karate Combat.
