Brazilian standout Bruno de Assis has been sighed to an extended mutli-year agreement, it was announced today by Karate Combat.

With a 4-0 Karate Combat record, including two wins by stoppage, ‘The White Dragon’ is attracting a growing global fanbase drawn to his all-action fighting style and explosive fight finishes.

The new multi-fight, multi-year deal commits Assis exclusively to Karate Combat until at least 2024 as the undefeated Brazilian focuses on his goal to become a Karate Combat world champion.

“I am really happy to have signed this new deal. Karate Combat is my home and I look forward to doing big things here. I’m going to take that world championship back to Brazil and then I’m going to keep it for a long time,” said Assis, fighting out of Campinas, Brazil.

“Bruno Assis has made a big impression with Karate Combat fans: he has world-class skills and he’s always looking to finish the fight. The fans love that, we love that, and that’s why we are delighted to sign him to this new contract,” said Adam Kovacs, Karate Combat president.

Karate Combat: Season 3 is currently in production and Assis will soon head to Karate Combat headquarters to take part in filming. Season 3, fronted by newly-announced ‘Season Sensei’ Georges St-Pierre, will premiere later this year with twelve weekly episodes.
