Jo Miyahara is the first Japanese Fighter to ever compete in Karate Combat and is the ultimate representative of the “World’s Strongest Karate” style Kyokushin. He has trained with a who’s who of Kyokushin and Knockdown Karate Legends like: Peter Aerts and Judd Reid as well as legends like Francisco Filho, Semmy Schilt, Glaube Feitosa, and Sam Greco through the SENSHI Training Camps. Not only that, having been a two time world medalist in Kyokushin, Miyahara is one of the most accomplished representatives of Kyokushin to enter the Karate Combat Pit. He is now looking to add to his legacy by winning the most coveted title in the art: The Karate Combat World Championship. Outside of fighting he is teaching the next generation of Karate Combat fighters at his school KWU SENSHI Japan Miyahara Dojo.
